Raleigh Resume

Run the analysis.

Either field is enough. The headline gets the visible-slice preview and structure checks; the About section gets the fold previews, the hook, the voice, and the filler scan.

The line under your name. Paste it exactly as your profile shows it.

Paste the whole section, line breaks and all; they shape what sits above the fold.

What gets analyzed, and why it stays private

Write for the cut, because your reader meets you at one. Beside your name, only about the first 70 characters of your headline travel into the feed, comments, and search. On your profile, roughly the first 300 characters of the About section show on desktop and about 200 in the app before see more. The previews mark both boundaries on your actual text.

Those numbers are approximations, measured August 2026. LinkedIn adjusts them over time, so treat each boundary as a zone: a headline that says the important thing in its first fifty characters survives the drift too.

Your headline and your About section never leave this tab. The analysis runs in your browser, and a security rule enforced by your browser blocks this page from sending your text anywhere. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and closing the tab erases it all.

What no analyzer can write is the claim itself: what you should be known for, said so a stranger cares. That is positioning work, and the one-time rebuild plus the month-to-month writing behind it is what our LinkedIn Management service does for clients.

The rest of the free toolbox runs the same way, in your browser: the post previewer shows what a post keeps above the fold, the resume check grades your resume, and the keyword scanner matches it to a posting.

Frequently asked questions

How long can a LinkedIn headline be?

220 characters, but only about the first 70 travel beside your name into the feed, comments, and search results. Write for that slice; the rest is only seen on the profile page itself. Approximations, measured August 2026.

How much of my About section shows before see more?

Roughly the first 300 characters on desktop and 200 in the app, of a 2,600-character limit. Those are approximations, measured August 2026; LinkedIn adjusts them over time, which is why the analyzer treats the fold as a zone.

Is my headline or About text uploaded?

No. The analysis is a small script running in your browser, and a security rule enforced by your browser blocks the page from sending your text anywhere. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and closing the tab erases it all.

Should my About section be in the first person?

Yes. It is the one place on LinkedIn built for it. Resume convention drops the subject; the About section is where you say what you did and why it matters, as yourself. Third person reads as distance.

When the profile needs a writer

A one-time rebuild gets the headline, About, and every role telling one story; ongoing management keeps it in front of your market. The analyzer shows the cuts; the writing earns the tap.
